On September 23 and 24, 2025 the 4th workshop of the EU Interreg cooperation project recomine SN-CZ-Plus took place in Kovářská in Krušne hory. In addition to the interesting technical presentations on critical mineral raw materials and material recycling by Černošice, Fluoritwerke Erzgebirge, Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF) at the HZDR, TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Czech Geological Survey, Technická univerzita Ostrava, DIAMO state enterprise, and Montanregion Krušné hory – Erzgebirge, o.p.s., the participants visited historical mining sites (Hřebečná tin district with the Mauritius mine and Kryštof adit; Horní Blatná – Blatenský vrch tin district; Wolfsgrube and Eisgrube mines, as well as Maria Theresa’s gallery in Horní Blatná) and basalt quarry above Ryžovna. We would like to thank all participants and look forward to the next workshop as part of the project.
