The recomine sub-project MindMontan “Reduction of water pollution in the Erzgebirge/Krušnohoři mining region” has published a film about the project work.

The film provides fascinating insights into the development and use of technology at the Hammerberg slag heap in Freiberg. The project team shows how chemical and microbial processes can be used efficiently to remove heavy metals such as zinc and cadmium from the leachate from the Hammerberg dump. The project clearly demonstrates the importance of cooperation between science, industry and administration.
