Market Development Trip to Peru "Environmental and Water Protection in Mining"

Wirtschaftsförderung Sachsen GmbH (WFS): "WFS is planning a market development trip "Environmental and Water Protection in Mining" to Peru from July 4 to July 8, 2022. The trip will be implemented on behalf of the Saxon State Ministry for Energy, Climate Protection, Environment and Agriculture (SMEKUL) and in cooperation with AHK Peru as well as the Dresden Groundwater Research Center (DGFZ), and its content will tie in with the Saxony-Perú Federal-Land Project (BLP) "Water Protection in Post-Mine Mining in Perú." The project focuses primarily on conflicts of use of water supply and water management in areas with active medium and small-scale mining and its aftercare.


Invited are companies, research institutions and networks with the following technical focus: Environmental, water and resource protection in mining and post-mining care, environmental management and technologies for sustainable mining, climate change and climate adaptation, etc.
