DigiFloat Project Meeting at HIF
The recomine-project DigiFloat "Digitization and model predictive control of complex treatment processes using sensor fusion and AI-assisted evaluation" had its first project meeting at the Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF) on 7 March 2024. The project partners Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF), Simba n³ - Datenlösungen, KSI Meinsberg (Kurt-Schwabe-Institute for Measurement and Sensor Technology e.V. Meinsberg) and University of Potsdam, the Institute of Chemistry - Optical Sensor Technology and Spektroscopy reported on the current project status. Secopta analytics GmbH also took part in the project meeting, although its work package will start later. The recomine-project re_pNEU "Remining by fine particles processing of tin tailings from the Erzgebirge with innovative pNEUmatic flotation technology, more sustainable processing strategies and recycling potential of silicate residues in stones and cobbles" presented its own project update at the project meeting.
